After focusing on the technical implementation of Blackboard at Health during the past year, attention is now switching to utilising the educational and teaching aspects of the system in online learning.

New graduates from the Department of Public Health will identify causes, solutions and preventative measures in the interaction between public health and healthcare systems.

Niels Henrik Hjøllund has been appointed professor at Aarhus University and the Regional Hospital West Jutland. In his professorship he will continue to develop a system that collects the data reported by patients themselves.

Susanne Wulff Svendsen is the new clinical professor of occupational medicine at Aarhus University and the Regional Hospital West Jutland. She conducts research into physical occupational injuries.

Four of the nine researchers from Aarhus University who have received a Sapere Aude Starting Grant in 2015 come from Health. The grants are awarded to a number of Denmark's most visionary and trendsetting researchers.
