The Masters’ Thesis process at Health
The procedure is intended to ensure that students have the best possible conditions for commencing their thesis period with an approved thesis proposal and thesis contract, and that the formal requirements of the program regulations are met.
- The student works with their supervisor to draft a thesis proposal
- The supervisor contributes academically to the thesis proposal.
- The head of studies or thesis supervisor approves the thesis proposal and thesis contract and sets the submission deadline.
The thesis period begins regardless of whether the thesis assignment and thesis contract have been finally approved.
- The head of studies or thesis supervisor approves a new assignment formulation within the same subject area and sets a new submission deadline.
Special features of the second and third test attempts
As a supervisor, head of studies, or thesis supervisor, you should be aware that students taking their second or third attempt only have 14 days to agree on and get approval for a changed assignment formulation.
The 1st examination attempt
