As part of the faculty's efforts to attract and retain the most qualified employees in all employment areas, a new internal website has been created where all relevant information about the hiring process can be found.
The goal is to ensure professional hiring processes that are both well-planned and well-executed. From this overview, you can delve into both general and position-specific guides for, for example, lecturers, professors, or emeriti.
New guidelines for the conferment of the honorary title of emeritus
Moreover, new joint guidance for the hiring of emeriti across the Health departments has just been launched. This guidance came into effect on May 1, 2024, and aims to ensure that the conferment follows the same criteria across the entire faculty.
The conferment of the honorary title of emeritus is intended to help ensure that Aarhus University remains a diverse workplace in the future, with various personnel groups, where age is not a decisive factor, but skills, behavior, motivation, readiness for development, and work ability are the focus.
