Free Webinars: Learn more about Open Access
What does Open Access mean? And how can I use it in my work? Those are among the questions the Danish Network for Open Access will answer in ten free Open Access webinars during the last week of October.

By Vibe Bregendahl Noordeloos
Open Access is a term that covers free online access to peer reviewed research. But what is the purpose, and how can it be used? Ten free webinars aim to demystify and explain what Open Access really means.
The Danish Network for Open Access offers the webinars in connection to this year’s Open Access Week from 24 - 30 October. In the webinars, speakers will address both the Open Access basics as well as more complicated Open Access-subjects such as the nuances behind the Plan-S Initiative.
The Danish Network for Open Access has representatives from all Danish universities, but the presenters of the week also include European profiles. These include Johan Rooryck from cOAlition S, who will give a presentation on the coalition and Plan S, and Per Pippin Aspaas from the University of Tromsø, who will give a presentation on the Rights Retention Strategy.
All the webinars are free of charge – you simply need to register no later than one day in advance.
