Webinar: Understand DFF’s New Funding Calls and Guidelines
New legislation has tightened the rules on who may apply and how applications are assessed at the Independent Research Fund Denmark. Among other things, applicants may be subject to a quarantine period if their application does not meet the required quality standards. Join the Fund’s webinar to learn more about the changes and what they mean for you.
The new executive order, which entered into force on 1 January, enables the Independent Research Fund Denmark to adjust the requirements for applications.
This means that, going forward, the Fund may:
- limit the number of applications an individual researcher may submit per call,
- limit the number of applications from researchers who hold two or more active grants,
- impose a quarantine period on applicants if one or more of their applications are deemed to be far from meeting the quality threshold for consideration.
The first call of the year is approaching, and the new funding calls will open in mid-March.
The Fund is inviting you to two webinars where you can learn more about the funding calls and the new guidelines. - You can read more and register for the webinars on the Independent Research Fund Denmark’s website.
And read more about the revised assessment criteria – and about the changes resulting from the new executive order as of 1 January 2026.
