ODIN launches 2026 call: Join online meetings on new funding opportunities
Are you looking to establish a cross-disciplinary research project with an industry partner? This April, you can join online meetings to learn more about the ODIN network and how to apply for funding of up to DKK 6.5 million for your next project.
The Open Discovery Innovation Network (ODIN) has opened its 2026 Grant Call and is inviting researchers and clinicians from Health to two short online introduction sessions in April.
ODIN supports early-stage, interdisciplinary research projects where academia and industry collaborate to address complex health challenges. The focus is on precompetitive research – projects that are not yet market-ready but have the potential to pave the way for new drugs, diagnostics, and technologies.
A key principle of ODIN is that all project results are shared openly, allowing others to build on them and accelerate scientific progress.
Get ready to apply
On 14 and 15 April, ODIN invites you to two different online sessions. Here, you will be guided through this year’s call, which includes new partners and an expanded scientific scope.
You will also gain insight into the application process and hear from previous grantees, who will share their experiences – including how to identify the right partners for your project.
Sign up now:
- 14 April, 13:00–15:00 (for researchers at AU and AAU)
- 15 April, 15:30–16:30 (especially for clinicians)
What you will gain from the sessions:
- An overview of the 2026 Grant Type 1 call and application process
- Introduction to ODIN’s matchmaking platform
- Insights from an industry partner (Lundbeck)
- Experiences from previously funded researchers
