Marie Skłodowska-Curie Masterclass

Are you supervising a candidate for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Masterclass?

Your role as a supervisor is to help the candidate work out an application of two pages for the Masterclass.

The application must include

  • 1 page: What is the candidate’s project idea? In which research group will the project take place? Why is the candidate’s project and your research group a perfect match?
  • 1 page: The candidate’s CV, including information about the candidate’s year of birth and PhD (when it was received and from which university), and a list with selected publications  

Application process

The application must be sent to Henry Andreasen (ha@au.dk) in the Faculty secretariat of Health.
The Vice-dean for research, Hans Erik Bøtker, on the advices of the Health Research forum and the AU Research Support Office, will decide, whether Health can meet the applications.
The applicants can expect an answer within a week.

Application deadline

 The deadline is ongoing, but as we have a limitation of 15 participants (15 candidates and their supervisors). It is first come, first served.


Time schedule of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Masterclass

The time schedule of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Masterclass 2022 is:

  • February-April: Supervisors identify potential candidates for the Masterclass and send in applications to join the Masterclass
  • 10 May: Masterclass webinar for candidates and their supervisors (13.00-16.00 o’clock)
  • 11 May: Masterclass webinar for candidate and their supervisors (10.00-11.00 o’clock)
  • 19 May: Q&A session for applicants (13.00-14.00 o’clock)
  • 24 May: Deadline for submitting synopsis to the Research Support Office as preparation for the individual feedback
  • May and June: applicant and supervisor prepare an application for the RSO
  • Late June to early July: Submission of proposals for RSO review.  Health chooses five proposals that will get additional support and feedback in August. The rest of the candidates and supervisors are no longer a part of the Masterclass, but they can still get access to online tools at the webpage.
  • August: Five updated proposals get support and feedback
  • 14 September: Deadline at EU. The applicants are submitting their proposals
  • February 2023: The European Commission announce the recipients of Marie Curie fellowships
